Where we're at....

I hope you are all safe and well! I just thought I'd take some time to update you on where we're at.

Simply put in level 2 we can run classes inside as normal with protective measures in place, in level 3, 4 or 5 we move outside and do a more simplified version of the class.

Why more simplified? The main reason being the weather, the most important thing for us is that children stay warm throughout the class so that they don't injure themselves. It is very difficult to explain more difficult skills (quickly) in a large, outdoor space with the wind blowing and be sure that the children know what is being asked of them so that they can complete it safely. We are focusing on building strength, co-ordination and fitness during these classes. We revise the skills the children already know and add in new skills where we can. We have come up with loads of fun, socially distanced games and the children are really enjoying the outdoor classes, some prefer them to being inside!

We are starting a 4 week term of outdoor classes this week with a Reveal class on Monday at 4pm and a Ninja class on Thurday at 4pm in Scoil Uí Riada, Kilcock. There are spaces available and you can book in here. Please remember that you can avoid the booking fee by paying in cash or by bank transfer.

We have been granted permission to return to Scoil Uí Dhalaigh, Leixlip and Scoil Uí Fhiaich, Maynooth as soon as we are back to level 2. I can't envision this happening in 2020 but we will be ready to hit the ground running as soon as this happens. We are really missing our Ninja's in Leixlip & Maynooth.

We are adding 2 online classes to the timetable (if there is interest) which will be delivered via Zoom. The first is a Ninja Fitness class at 4pm on Wednesday suitable for children 4-13 years and the second is a handstand & handbalancing class which will be at 5pm on Wednesday suitable for children 7+. We know that Zoom isn't ideal for children but we thought we'd give it a go! You can sign up to the waiting list here and if we get the numbers the class will go ahead!

Please make sure to follow us on social media (links at the op of the page) to ensure you stay up to date on what's going on, we are building a fitness community and would love for you to participate. We are currently doing a lockdown challenge to ensure everyone gets out and stays active during the latest round of restrictions! #stayactiveathome

Last but not least we have t-shirts and hoodies available to purchase which make a great stocking filler! You can order here and we will deliver them locally free of charge.

We really hope we'll see everyone again soon, Stay Safe!
